Wooo, Orders.

Hubster was told yesterday that his orders were ready. Turns out, the guy he was supposed to get them from was on quarters...with pink eye. *sigh* So I was prepared to wait a bit longer.

But I got a text earlier and he got them! Our command sponsorship has been approved (the government will pay for my travel to Germany and then to wherever we end up next). And, we have been approved for concurrent travel, which is also awesome. That means we can fly to Germany together, instead of separately (if we had been assigned deferred travel).

The orders also said that "housing is not projected to be available." I have done some asking around, and that is put on all OCONUS (outside the continental United States) posts because we can't apply for housing until we are actually there. I was actually hoping to live off-post. What an experience that would be!

Things to do now that we have orders:

1. Notify our apartment office that we are moving

2. Figure out travel pay

3. Transportation
